We saw an 18% increase in how much youth enjoy engaging with writing, whether in school or outside of school, after working with The Telling Room.

There was growth of 20% in youth developing 21st Century Skills that help them take their learning beyond writing, such as approaching projects with flexibility, critical thinking, and the motivation to create quality work that they see through to completion.

We saw a 26% boost in students’ sense of self and confidence, demonstrated by an increased comfort around sharing their writing, an expanded interest in listening to others around them, and a strengthened belief that their voice matters.
