COLLEGE ESSAY AND SAILING
SailMaine and The Telling Room are partnering this summer to help rising seniors get ahead of the tide of college admissions in an innovative program that's part writing and part sailing. Participants will spend the mornings at The Telling Room's writing studio crafting their college essay, and then head out on Casco Bay each afternoon in search of inspiration.
All experience levels are welcome!

12:00 - 1:00: Lunch/Walk to SailMaine
1:00 - 4:00: J/22 Sailing on Casco Bay

COLLEGE ESSAY WORKSHOPS | YARMOUTH
The Telling Room will be offering a college essay workshop led by our program director, and college essay guru, Nick Schuller. Before coming to The Telling Room, Nick read applications for UC Berkeley and ran a college prep organization. Each workshop will offer four hours of small-group instruction and individual revising support. Participants can finish the whole process (mostly) painlessly in this workshop and get a head start on their applications. Each session is limited to 12 students and will cost $250. Limited scholarships are available.
