Calling all doodlers, sketchers, inkers and scribblers! Come on in to The Telling Room for a night of food, fun, and COMICS. We'll harness The Telling Room's philosophy of play and collaboration as we draw, experiment, and share stories one panel at a time. No comics experience necessary. All are welcome. This won't be a traditional workshop but rather a chance to make communal drawings, play games, and get a taste of what The Telling Room is all about.

This workshop will be hosted by Teaching Artist, Andy Cole! Continually humbled by the creative process, he is inspired by the imagination and zeal students (of all ages) bring to their work. Andy is eager to employ a love of songwriting, visual art, film, comics, and games in his work with The Telling Room, and he’s excited to dive into this year’s adult Comics Workshop.

This course is a part of a series of adult workshops: Comics Workshop (For Adults), The Letter You Keep Meaning to Send (For Adults), and Fourth Grade Poetry (For Adults).
