Grace Willcox

Communications Manager Grace Willcox is originally from Washington State, but graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California, in 2021 with her Bachelor's in English. She moved to Portland, Maine, a little over six years ago and has fallen in love with the thriving, often grassroots writing and artist community the city has to offer. During her time on the East Coast, she has become the Communications Manager for The Telling Room after volunteering for a semester as a Publications Workshop mentor. When she is not working on submitting her poetry and prose for publication, you can almost always find her at Smalls, reading manuscripts (her favorite side gig) and sipping on an iced latte. She also loves to explore the woods and waters of Maine with her fiancé, or binge-watch movies at home with her two cats. Her favorite place to be is the library.
