Scrolling through the posts,

I await my sister's call, while

Mother Nature

exhales a 5 o’clock breeze.

Out in the backyard, over and over,

I fetch my sister's ball.

The neighbors next door

have a 6 o’clock barbecue.

Lying on the ground,

exhaustion pouring over me,

I notice the north-facing window

reflecting the 7 o’clock sunset.

In the backseat of our car,

I am impatient to get home.

The street lights

illuminate the 8 o’clock road.

Looking out the window,

I see a black void.

The East River

becomes the 9 o’clock sky.
